Section 8 Inspection 5th-6th Match 2020
Horringer Court was inspected under the new Education Inspection Framework in March 2020. The inspection team judged that the school continues to be Good. The inspectors concluded that children enjoy coming to the school and acknowledge the strong sense of community. They found that parents and pupils like the specialist teachers and facilities that the school offers. The inspectors reported that the curriculum is broad and taught as separate subjects across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. Staff have high expectations and the pupils respond by working hard and behaving well. Leaders are ambitious for pupils academically and their personal development is promoted well.

In our first short-form inspection since we were judged to be good in February 2013, Ofsted decided that we continue to be a good school. Inspectors found that at Horringer Court we put pupils at the heart of our work and we are all committed to ensuring that pupils achieve well, both academically and personally. Inspectors found that our pupils are curious, courteous and are keen to learn and are positive about their experiences at Horringer Court. They recognised that our teachers have high expectations, which helps pupils to do their best, and makes ours a harmonious, happy and motivated learning environment.

Ofsted Inspection 2013
In the words of Ofsted, Horringer Court is a good school that is improving, and in some areas is already outstanding. They go on to say:
“Leaders have improved the school’s results by taking effective action to improve teaching and achievement.”
“Pupils’ progress is improving in English, and has risen greatly in mathematics. It is now good, and sometimes outstanding, as they move through the school.”
