As a school we accept that self-praise is no recommendation and seek external validation of our work. We have led the way in gaining a range of national awards, all at the highest level possible, as testimony to the breadth and depth of our achievements and lack of complacency in all we do in and out of the classroom.  In alphabetical order, the main awards are:

CAM The University of Cambridge Primary Partnership is a stable, long standing partnership involving approximately 250 nursery, infant, junior and primary schools, academies and special schools from across the Eastern Region. The overall objective of the Partnership is that in the context of an appropriate investment of school and Faculty time and resources, trainees gain qualified teacher status (QTS), acquiring the skills and attitudes to become professionally competent, informed and capable of further professional development. In order to facilitate this, trainees have placements in contrasting schools wherever possible.
Healthy Schools Healthy Schools - we take the health of our pupils and staff extremely seriously and pupils know the importance of exercise and a good diet.
NTS National Teaching Schools are outstanding schools that work with others to provide high-quality training and development to new and experienced school staff. They are part of the government’s plan to give schools a central role in raising standards by developing a self-improving and sustainable school-led system. By March 2016, the goal is to have a network of 600 teaching schools making significant improvements in the quality of teaching, leadership and pupil attainment.
