Success at the Bury St Edmunds All-Through Trust 13-18 County Campus is built on a strong partnership between teachers, parents, students and governors; a partnership which flourishes in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect, where every individual is known and valued.

You can find out more about our values and work in our prospectus and brochure.

We are very proud that our young people feel secure and happy and enjoy coming to school and that our "can do" attitude ensures that our students achieve excellent results at all levels of ability: results which reflect, and frequently exceed, their potential.

Going All-Through
This is a time of great change in education nationally. While other schools locally are adjusting to their recent move to a two-tier system, our schools are already established and very confident with the forward looking All-Through system. As a result, all the schools in our Trust are able to focus solely on our core mission of helping every pupil to reach his or her potential by providing a seamless education from 4-19.

Any child in Year 4 who is not already in our system can choose to move into the All-Through Trust. Indeed, parents with children of all ages are very welcome to attend one of our open events and/or to have an individual tour. Top of the class!Top of the class!

We were delighted to be commended by the British Council for our take up of Modern Foreign Languages and our results in these subjects particularly for boys and disadvantaged students. It confirmed that our attainment is 10 percentage points higher than the average for other schools with a similar intake. Only 50 other schools in the country are achieving this. We thank and congratulate our languages team and the students who work with them to achieve such high standards.

The CoSpace DayThe CoSpace Day

Year nine and ten students enjoyed a taster day at Adastral Park which is BT’s headquarters in Martlesham. Following our computing success on the world stage in recent years, new students were keen to sample programming and robotics with a view to competing later in the year. The group were enthused by the day and quickly acquired the necessary skills. We congratulate all who took part and thank Dr Hughes and Mr Goldman for making it possible.

The Duke of Edinburgh Presentation EveningThe Duke of Edinburgh Presentation Evening

Parents, staff and governors were pleased to join students who have recently completed their bronze and silver awards. Over sixty certificates were presented as we celebrated the hard work and commitment required to complete the award. Video clips of some of the lighter moments from the various expeditions underlined how much fun students also have on the scheme while the support of some gold award students inspired the recipients to aim high. The evening also allowed us to thank the large staff team who give up so much time to enable over a hundred students from year ten upwards to participate each year. We are especially grateful to Mr Price, Mrs Bradbury and Mr O’Leary for organising the scheme and congratulate all who received their certificates and badges.
