How are pupils doing?
One way to answer this question is to look at attainment, i.e. how many children reach their nationally expected level by the end of Year 2.
In 2016, Barrow pupils performed well above the National average in reading (7 percentage points above the National average), writing (3 percentage points above) and maths (12 percentage points above) assessments. As you can see from the charts below, our children have achieving above the national average consistently over the last four years. (The zero line on the charts is the National average in each year.)
